Curriculum and Instruction
Curriculum Development Cycles
Curriculum, Review of Instructional Materials by Parents/Guardians and Students, and Exemption From Instruction (Policies 105, 105.1, and 105.2)
School Board Policies in relation to Curriculum, Review of Instructional Materials by Parents/Guardians and Students, and Exemption From Instruction (Policies 105, 105.1, and 105.2) are located on the school’s website, www.masd.info website, under the school board link. Parents can schedule a time to look at “non-curricular” material such as classroom selected read aloud titles, libraries, etc. by coordinating this with the homeroom teacher. Board Approved Curriculum material and information can be found on the district website through Rubicon Atlas. Book titles available in building libraries can be found online through Follett Destiny. Please contact your building principal or director of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, Dr. Christine Kresge if you have any questions.
We are currently updating all courses in our curriculum platform, Rubicon Atlas. This is a significant undertaking, and we're working diligently to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date.
We anticipate having the updated curriculum made public and available for you to view online as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you would like to review the curriculum for a specific course or grade level, please contact your child's school, and we will be happy to provide the information upon request.
Thank you for your patience as we complete this important process.
