Dear Montrose Area School District Families,

We are excited to share an important leadership transition within our school community.

First, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Ryan Soden for his dedication, leadership, and care for our students, families, and staff. During his time as principal, he has made a lasting impact on our school community, and we are truly grateful for all that he has done to support our students and help our school thrive. Please join us in thanking Mr. Soden and wishing him all the very best in the next chapter of his educational journey.

At the same time, we are delighted to welcome Mrs. Sarah Brander as our new Lathrop Street Elementary School Principal. Mrs. Brander has dedicated her career to the Montrose Area School District as a classroom teacher, coach, and administrator. We are confident that she will continue to bring enthusiasm, compassion, and strong leadership to Lathrop Street Elementary School. We look forward to introducing Mrs. Brander to our students and families and working together to make this transition a smooth one.
